Dr. Samir Gupta, DMD

Dr. Samir Gupta was born and raised in Pittsburgh and pursued his Bachelors of Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gupta then received his DMD at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors. At each of these universities, his passion for philanthropy led him to found a chapter of Operation Smile, an international medical charity that provides free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other dental and facial conditions.

Dr. Gupta prides himself on clinical excellence and delivering comprehensive dental care to every patient he sees. He strives to ensure his patients always feel comfortable and confident in the care they are receiving. He is a lifelong learner of dentistry and overall health, taking any opportunity to advance his knowledge and skills.

Dr. Gupta recently got married and moved to Center City Philadelphia. He likes to stay active, and especially enjoys playing basketball. If he’s not in the gym or basketball court, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Simon Oh DDS FICOI

Dr. Simon Oh grew up in Maryland where he received his Bachelors of Science at the University of Maryland – College Park in Physiology and Neurobiology. He then graduated with honors at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he achieved the highest national board scores in his class. He was a member of several honors societies, including the OKU honors society, and won many scholarships for academic and clinical achievement. Dr. Oh was also the lead guitar player of his band, InciDental.

After finishing his dental education, Dr. Oh furthered his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Here he received extensive inpatient and outpatient training in conditions ranging from impacted wisdom teeth and dental implants, to major facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Oh is also a published author in the Journal of Maxillofacial Trauma.

Today, Dr. Oh serves as Chief Dental Officer of Capstone Dental Group and Dental Health Associates, overlooking all clinical operations of over 60 dentists and dental specialists. As a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr Oh has special interest in implant dentistry and outpatient oral surgery, as well as all aspects of dentistry. Dr Oh lectures and trains doctors on implant surgery on a regular basis, including at the Zimmer Institute. He focuses on delivering quality care to his patients, in the most pain-free manner possible. Dr. Oh enjoys traveling, and spending time with his wife Sophie, son Cameron, and their two dogs, Max and Mandi.

Dr. Runjan Seth, MSC, DMD, FICOI

As a licensed Dentist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania Dr. Seth works with our patients so they can achieve and maintain a beautiful smile and healthier gums and teeth.

He takes the time with our patients to explain their treatment options and inform them of additional preventative care. Dr. Seth is a graduate of Dalhousie University BSC, University of Toronto MSC, Boston University DMD, Harvard University Extension School CSS, and was a Clinical Instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is presently a Clinical Instructor at University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Seth has completed a Fellowship in International Congress of Oral Implantology and has done over 350 hours of education in the field of Dental Implants.

Dr. Jonathan Theis, DMD

Dr. Theis graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2009. Originally from Williamsport, PA, he moved to Philadelphia in 2005, and has been practicing the art of dentistry in his new home ever since. Dr. Theis has received additional education in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and even facial rejuvenation. He is a perfectionist and strives to provide top level dental health as well as esthetics to all his patients. Growing up in central Pennsylvania, Dr. Theis has always been very close to his family and awaits his younger brother to graduate from Temple Dental and join the practice. He loves sports, exercising and staying healthy. He is a former musician who still loves to play his guitar. Dr. Theis is always striving to learn more and better himself, especially in the field of dentistry. He prides himself on putting his patients at ease and being very good with children. He looks forward to every day knowing he might have the chance to change someone’s life for the better.
